Most well written poems,
Don’t mean anything,
They are but broken words,
Stitched together,
To mirror perfection.

I find poetry as a gentle reminder, a medium to relay and dwell upon all things considerate people find inconsiderate. Poetry as an art is akin to a lamp or a magnifying glass. It trails volumes of meaning behind obscure, vague words. I have been writing for a time now, and intend to do so for the time to come. And hopefully, hopefully, hope that one day, someday, a person stumbling across this veil of words, find it alluring enough to shift aside the curtain and peer, into the eyes of the naked truth which sways with the wind of reason. If you have any thoughts, it would be my pleasure to know them, if you don't then it would be a pleasure to not. Be my guest. This feast of words is for you. View all posts by TheHumanAnvil
I can see what you are getting at. I see good poems as successfully outlining the shape of something true but inexpressible, giving the reader sufficient clues to intuit the rest.

I look practiced poems as successfully outlining the condition of something true(p) but inexpressible, giving the lecturer sufficient clues to intuit the residue.

I guess i disagree with this one. in Mistletoe Blues The viewer is seeing all life’s imperfections and then some…at the same time I agree …in that all the imperfections are held together by the song that entwines through them. If that wasn’t there they would just be strange descriptions…of probably a bad date.

Absolutely true. But what I am hinting at is the fact that nowadays people use too complicated words and prose to say something almost trivial….Or nothing at all…
